The lumber jack plaid

There’s plaid and then there’s PLAID. Plaid is the button down/jacket that comes varied in its multicoloredness and you never really love it but you always just really like it. PLAID is the classic black and red check that you never really like but ALWAYS love. And PLAID is what I wore today. K, I’m gonna stop capitalizing plaid, it’s giving me size related anxiety. Anywho, you know lumber jacks (read: under-appreciated style icons)? Exactly. I came across the look you see beneath and decided too emulate it and of course add my own lil’ sumin sumin, i.e. mewelry. Below doesn’t exactly scream lumber jack but neither does a tiny totem pole on a string – inspiration is in the eye of the beholder my friend.

Voila, inspiration.

The preceding pictures contain poses such as: ‘looking into the distant corner of my apartment’ and ‘chopping down an imaginary tree which is actually a book shelf’.

Links? Okay. Thrifted (lumber jack) plaid jacket. H&M t. American Apparel herringbone sweater. H&M jeans. Booooooooots. Citizen watch. Thrifted totem pole mewelry. And all was well in the land of plaid.
